Falk puts spin on new TV comedy

WPWR-TV

September 11, 2010 – “Suit guy” Vincent Falk is currently featured in a television spot for My 50 Chicago. The local station, owned by Fox Television Stations, is promoting the comedy show How I Met Your Mother, which starts Monday. The spot was taped on August 25 and shows Falk performing on the State Street Bridge and doing a signature spin (above) on the balcony of his west tower condo at Marina City.

Falk continues to report slow but steady improvement of his eyesight. The retina in his left eye has healed “almost completely” from surgery in May, according to Jennifer Burns, producer of the documentary about Falk.

“With his retina more stable,” she wrote in her newsletter on Monday, “he will likely be having a cornea transplant sometime next month.”

Meanwhile, the documentary has been booked for two screenings at Normal Theater in Normal, Illinois this month, and one showing at Beverly Arts Center in Chicago.
