Good second run at Siskel for Falk film

August 2, 2010 – (Above) Jennifer Burns and Vincent Falk at Gene Siskel Film Center last week. The documentary about Falk, directed by Burns, was booked at the film center for a second time, running from July 23 to July 29. Although attendance was generally lower than the first run, both Burns and Falk say attendance was still good.

Falk continues to report modest improvement in his eyesight since a complication following glaucoma surgery on May 24 that left him temporarily blind.

Vincent: A Life In Color will move to Normal, Illinois, on September 14-15 and then back to Chicago on September 29 at the Beverly Arts Center on West 111th Street. (Photo by Karen Durham.)
