HBO VIPs to preview Veep at MBC

Photo by Steven Dahlman April 17, 2012 – (Left) Work continues Tuesday afternoon on the fourth floor of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in preparation for a private event hosted by HBO. The cable television network will preview Tuesday evening its new comedy series Veep, which airs Sunday for everyone else.

Although the show’s star, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, will not be there, Chicagoan Matt Walsh, who plays a press spokesperson on the show, is scheduled to attend.

With the exterior of the building on North State Street finished, the museum is working floor by floor on the interiors. A ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13 will be the grand re-opening of the museum to the public. (Click on image to view larger version.)
