August 26, 2013 – As it turns out, there is plenty of parking available on the riverfront plaza of 330 North Wabash for Chicago Fire Department vehicles. A battalion chief, paramedic field chief, and scuba team drove at least three vehicles from Wabash Avenue onto the plaza at about 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The mood was light and CFD’s media affairs spokesperson was not aware of any serious incidents at that time or place.

Earlier in the day, assisted by real fire and police personnel, a Chicago Fire film crew was working nearby on Wacker Drive. They filmed CFD vehicles, one of which was being driven by actor Eamonn Walker.
