More Transformers filming coming soon

August 13, 2010 – It is not a wrap yet in River North. Filming for the new Transformers 3 movie will continue on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and then again next weekend.

On Sunday, 661 North Clark Street, near the intersection of Clark and Erie Streets, will be the film’s location from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Erie Street will be closed from Clark Street to Dearborn Street.

Also on Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., filming will take place at 50 East Erie Street (between Wabash Avenue and Rush Street) and 664 North Franklin Street (near Franklin & Erie) with some streets in the area closed intermittently.

On Monday, the movie moves to Wrigley Building near 400 North Michigan Avenue from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday, filming continues at 215 West Ohio Street (between Franklin and Wells Streets) from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. both days. Ohio Street will not be closed but parking will be restricted on both sides of Franklin Street from Grand Avenue to Ohio Street.
