Marina City performs stunts in new Transformers trailer

Paramount Pictures

June 19, 2011 – (Above) Whether it was caused by a weapon of intergalactic war – or a crashing alien craft – a large explosion, seen here in a new trailer for Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, is definitely lowering property values of units on about seven floors of Marina City’s west tower.

The other explosion behind Rosie Huntington-Whitely will lift a vehicle several feet into the air in the next few frames. (Click on images to view larger versions.)

Marina City gets even more screen time in the new trailer, which was released last Thursday and features the song Iridescent by Linkin Park. (Above) A Decepticon (a very bad robot) goes on a rampage on Wacker Drive.

The film is scheduled for release on June 29.
