New service will give Trump guests choice of 2,000 news titles

NewspaperDirect

October 23, 2013 – Well-read guests at Trump International Hotel & Tower in River North will have more choices because of an eco-friendly deal with a Canadian company announced on Tuesday.

NewspaperDirect will supply digital versions of 2,000 newspapers and magazines from more than 100 nations on the hotel’s Wi-Fi network. Guests, as well as anyone attending a corporate meeting or event, will access PressReader from a computer, smartphone, tablet, eReader, or other personal digital device.

The service allows the 339-room hotel to offer a greater selection of hometown newspapers.

“Our guests come from all over the world,” said Trump Vice President T. Colm O’Callaghan in a news release, “and we felt offering them access to PressReader’s extensive library was a natural extension of our high-caliber services and amenities.”

PressReader is available at more than 15,000 libraries, hotels, cruise ships, airline lounges, restaurants, and other businesses around the world.
