Of the ten most-read news stories published by Loop North in 2019, six were about real estate. The top story, Chicago property owners brace for more hefty tax increases in 2019, did not just warn readers about tax increases on the horizon, but also provided advice on how to lower tax bills.

Other stories concerned mortgage rates, home buying, the new-condo market, and condo de-conversion.
