Police warn of late night robberies on State Street

October 13, 2015 – Chicago Police are warning about recent robberies on North State Street.

It happened three times in the past week – in the 400, 500, and 600 blocks of North State Street, an area stretching from Kinzie Street north to Ohio Street (see map below).

According to a community alert, “one or more” men approached victims on the street and demanded or took by force personal property.

The incidents happened in the late evening and early morning hours on Tuesday, October 6, and in the early morning of Saturday, October 10.

The suspects are described as two black men. One is about 27 years old, five feet ten inches tall, weighing 190 pounds. The other is 30 years old and has dreadlocks.
