November 19, 2014 – A man was stabbed in a robbery Monday night near North Dearborn & West Superior Streets.

Chicago police say a 46-year-old man was walking near the intersection at about 10:20 p.m. on Monday when another man approached with a knife, demanded money, and stabbed him in the chest twice.

The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital about six blocks away where his condition stabilized. The man who attacked him has not been caught.

The incident happened near a Whole Foods Market and across the street from Poetry Foundation.
