River North seafood spot in OpenTable ‘Top 100’

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

December 12, 2013 – They may not be fancy restaurant critics but users of the website OpenTable have picked the top 100 restaurants in the United States and they say Joe’s Seafood is the only River North restaurant worthy of the list.

The provider of online restaurant reservations announced on Wednesday its “Diners’ Choice” winners for 2013.

“These awards reflect the combined opinions of more than five million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for approximately 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia,” read a news release from the San Francisco-based service.

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is located at the corner of East Grand Avenue and North Rush Street. The “top 100” list is not ranked. Only one Chicago restaurant made the Top 10 Best Restaurants in America, which is ranked. “goosefoot,” located in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, won by a beak a spot on the list, coming in tenth.
