Robber greets woman leaving CTA bus

July 6, 2012 – A 17-year-old woman says her wallet was grabbed out of her hand last month as she stepped off a CTA bus in the 300 block of North State Street. The strong-arm robbery happened on June 13 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

After a brief struggle, according to police, the man ran off with the woman’s wallet. He is described as a 20-year-old black male, about six feet tall, 160 pounds, black hair, dark complexion, wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt.
