March 4, 2015 – Workers near the Chicago Riverwalk rescued a man who fell into the river on Monday.

At about 2:34 p.m., east of LaSalle Street near the south bank, a crew working on a construction barge heard someone fall into the river. One of the workers tossed a ring buoy to a 36-year-old man, who grabbed it and made it out of the water.
