Man punched in face on State Street

Photo by Steven Dahlman April 17, 2013 – An 18-year-old man says he was punched in the face last month on North State Street next to Marina City. The unidentified man says he was on the sidewalk on March 26 at about 7 p.m. when another man came up to him, “asked if he had a problem” and if the man had “looked at him wrong.”

When told by the victim that he did not have a problem, the man then hit him. The victim walked away and drove himself to a hospital where he was treated for a minor bruise.

Chicago police did not release a description of the suspect and, according to the police report, are not currently investigating the incident.
