July 17, 2013 – State Street Pizza Company has closed, according to a co-owner. The pizza restaurant opened in January 2010 on the ground floor of 400 North State Street.

Co-owner Todd Stump is optimistic that the space will not be vacant for long. “We’ve got several prospective tenants lined up,” he said on Wednesday.

Stump is the co-founder of Atomic Entertainment, a developer of venues such as restaurants, nightclubs, arcades, and bowling alleys. He also started Atomic Media Group, creator of local-language cable television channels. In 2010, he managed the campaign of Dan Proft, who ran unsuccessfully for governor.
