The cars were back at HOB on Wednesday as 12 NASCAR drivers answered questions from an estimated 1,200 fans at the first NASCAR Contenders Live.

The sold-out event was videotaped for broadcast on the Speed sports channel on Thursday at 6 p.m. Central time. Television trucks were parked outside House of Blues on Dearborn Street.

The NASCAR racing season gets underway with the Chase for the Sprint Cup at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday. The 12 drivers, including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony Stewart, will compete in a ten-race playoff through mid-November.
