7-Apr-18 – For no apparent reason, a 23-year-old woman at a sold-out House of Blues concert pepper-sprayed her fellow concert-goers, many of whom then punched her in the face.

Lil Skies The incident happened on March 22 at about 10:40 p.m. According to the House of Blues Facebook page, the rapper Lil Skies (left) was performing that evening.

When police arrived at the concert venue, Chicago Fire Department personnel were trying to help House of Blues security detain the woman. When officers tried to detain her, the woman stiffened her body and pulled her arms away. According to the police report, they had to use “emergency cuffing techniques” to place her in custody.

It was then that they noticed the woman, described as Hispanic with a tattoo under her left eye, had dried blood on her face and body.

Officers were informed that “several unknown patrons that were hit by the pepper spray struck [the] offender in the face with their hands, causing bruising and a bloody nose.”

She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, then charged with reckless conduct and resisting/obstructing a police officer. Her court date is scheduled for May 21.
