November 26, 2014 – An indoor cycling studio is the first commercial tenant to lease space at OneEleven, the 60-story residential tower that opened this year at West Wacker Drive & North Clark Street.

SoulCycle has signed a lease for 4,200 square feet on the ground level. The building has 32,000 square feet of retail space along with 504 luxury apartments.

Related Midwest, developer of OneEleven, calls SoulCycle “the country’s premier indoor cycling brand, known for its high-energy workouts that combine cycling with dance.”

Its 45-minute workout, set to music, is in intentionally dim lighting “to look more like a nightclub than a health club.”

Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice founded SoulCycle in 2006. They have 32 locations nationwide and fans, they claim, that include Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Oprah Winfrey.
