Trump ‘Urban Oasis’ winner yet to be picked

HGTV

October 10, 2011 – If you entered the HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway, you are not out of the running yet. Later this month, the network will randomly select a new owner of a 1,000 square foot, fully furnished condo on the 35th floor of Trump International Hotel & Tower. The unit is part of a grand prize package worth more than $750,000.

The deadline for entering was October 7. The exact number of entries is not yet known. A spokesperson for HGTV says they are allowing time for postcard entries to arrive.

“The winner’s name will be drawn later this month and will be announced once the person is located and contacted,” says Emily Yarborough. “We will hold a winner weekend event November 3-5 when the winner will be given the keys and be able to see the place for the first time.”

The key ceremony, says Yarborough, will not be open to the public. The Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture is sponsoring the sweepstakes.
