June 11, 2012 – Marina City is part of a mural at Midway International Airport that has won an “award of merit” by the International Association of Business Communications.

The mural (above) by Chicago artist Bruce Vogele brightens a wall along a pedestrian walkway to the CTA Orange Line station.

Midway was among several organizations recognized for their outstanding public artwork. The award was presented at the association’s annual Bronze Quill banquet last Thursday.
