It is not until the last 66 minutes of the 2011 film does the action move to Chicago but once there, most of the story takes place along the main branch of the Chicago River. Marina City shows up numerous times, both real and imagined, from many angles.

This is the second movie event organized by the condo association at Marina City. On August 21, residents were treated to Mickey One, which includes scenes filmed at Marina City in 1964, and the 1965 film This is Marina City that documents the construction of the complex.
