Carrying a large American flag, marchers take the first steps in the Chicago Memorial Day Parade on Saturday. The parade starts at State Street and Wacker Drive in front of Marina City. It attracts about 10,000 spectators and is considered one of the largest Memorial Day parades in the nation.
