Serving the Loop and Near North neighborhoods of downtown Chicago

September 19, 2019 – No longer just an architectural icon on the cover of an acclaimed album, Marina City has finally made the leap to featured performer in a Wilco music video.

The Chicago band has released the video for Everyone Hides, a single from an album that will be released in October, that includes a quick scene shot at Marina City.

At 2:54 into the video, drummer Glenn Kotche, competing in a city-wide game of hide-and-seek, climbs stairs in Marina City’s west tower, enters a one-bedroom unit, and hides on the balcony.

Every member of the band appears, as themselves, at other locations in the video. Singer and guitarist Jeff Tweedy says it is “the first promotional video to feature Wilco as a living, breathing band of humans in close to 20 years.”
