December 27, 2013 – The development of Chicago’s Wolf Point, not without controversy, was a popular topic in 2013 for Loop North News and its downtown readers.

By the last few days of the year, this news site has published 240 stories in 2013 that have collectively been read more than 109,000 times. Three of those stories were about Wolf Point, including the year’s most-read story with the most incorrect headline, “Wolf Point construction starts July 31.”

As sure as the architecture firm was at the time about when construction would begin, as it turned out they were off by three months.

Other popular stories include three articles about two cases in U.S. District Court, both with a connection to the north side of the Loop, and two stories about an ill-fated renovation project at Marina City.
