Hotel Sax to display Marina City LEGO model

2-June-08 – The four-foot version of Marina City, constructed of 12,000 LEGO bricks, is coming to Marina City. It will be on display at Hotel Sax sometime after July 1. Details are still being worked out, but the hotel is interested in displaying the model in its lobby.

After working on the model since January, architect Adam Tucker completed the model last month. It will be on display at BrickWorld 2008, a large exhibit of LEGO structures scheduled for June 19-22 at the Westin North Shore Hotel in Wheeling, Illinois.
