Marina City LEGO model completed

May 21, 2008 – A four-foot version of Marina City, constructed of 12,000 LEGO bricks, is complete and ready for display at BrickWorld 2008. The large exhibit of LEGO structures is scheduled for June 19-22 at the Westin North Shore Hotel in Wheeling, Illinois.

As it neared completion, the model made an appearance May 2 at Looptopia, the dusk-to-dawn artistic celebration. Architect Adam Tucker had been working on the Marina City model since January and recently decided to re-design the parking ramp.
