LaSalle appoints new CFO

January 5, 2011 – The real estate investment trust that owns Marina City’s Hotel Sax and 34 other hotels announced today it has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.

Bruce Riggins will start work on January 24. He is currently CFO of Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Riggins is 38 years old and will have a base salary of $375,000, plus a $140,000 signing bonus, plus an additional bonus of up to $225,000 per year.

Last September, it was announced that long-time CFO Hans Weger would leave no later than February 28, 2011, to pursue “new opportunities and challenges.” Weger had been with LaSalle since it became a publicly traded company in 1998 and was also its executive vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
