Langham opens softly

July 10, 2013 – With its own canopy at 330 North Wabash, The Langham soft-opened on Wednesday. River North’s latest luxury hotel is on floors 2-13 in the 52-story riverfront building designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

July 10 is precisely the date on which Langham managers believed back in March the hotel would open.

The 316-room Langham Chicago will officially open on September 10. Dr. Lo Ka Shui, a medical doctor who is executive chairman of Langham Hospitality Group, based in Hong Kong, will be in Chicago for the event.
