General manager hired for 330 Wabash’s Langham

March 15, 2012 – The hotel will not open until the middle of next year, but Langham Chicago does now have a General Manager. Kevin Robinson got the job, according to a news release on Wednesday from Langham Hospitality Group, which is based in Hong Kong.

Langham Hospitality Group Robinson (left) is 36 years old. He was previously the general manager and COO at the 188-room Elysian Hotel in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood.

The 316-room Hotel Langham is being constructed on floors 2-13 of 330 North Wabash, formerly known as IBM Plaza. The hotel will include 20,000 square feet of meeting facilities, a spa, fitness center, and lap pool.
