Serving the Loop and Near North neighborhoods of downtown Chicago

January 26, 2021 – Two of the last buildings under construction as part of the Lakeshore East master plan have reached their full height.

Chicago-based Magellan Development Group and Sydney-based LendLease say they have topped-off Cirrus, a 47-story 350-unit luxury condominium tower at 211 North Harbor Drive, and Cascade, a 37-story 503-unit luxury apartment tower at 455 East Waterside Drive.

“As a cornerstone of the Lakeshore East master plan, Cirrus and Cascade are situated on one of the most prominent sites in downtown Chicago, with protected lake, river, and city views,” said Sean Linnane, executive vice president of Magellan Development Group.

Prices will range from the mid-$400,000s to over $4 million when the buildings start to open this fall.

The project includes a publicly-accessible 0.8-acre park that will connect the residential buildings to the Chicago Riverwalk and lakefront. Cascade Park will open this summer.
