Construction starts on luxury rental at State & Huron

CA Ventures LLC June 21, 2016 – Construction has started on a 26-story, 102-unit luxury apartment tower near East Huron & North State Streets, according to Chicago-based CA Ventures LLC.

The tower replaces two buildings from 1889 that were demolished earlier this year.

A mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments will be offered, with “ultra-luxury” three-bedroom units on the 22nd and 23rd floors. Some units will have private balconies. Amenities on the 24th floor will include an outdoor infinity-edge stainless steel pool (above).

“The entire building – from the residences to the common areas – is designed to give residents a five-star, resort-style experience without stepping foot off the property.”

Clark Construction is the general contractor. The Gettys Group will oversee interior design.

CA Ventures purchased the 8,500 square foot property in 2013 for $6.1 million, according to a published report. The building should be completed in October 2017.
