May 26, 2010 – Marina City was the setting Tuesday for a film being shot in Chicago that will explore infidelity and “walk a fine line between comedy and drama.” Directed by Ron Howard, the yet-untitled film stars Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Kevin James, Queen Latifah, and Channing Tatum.

Tuesday was the first day of filming for the movie. Shooting will continue at other locations in Chicago through August 6. The film’s release date is January 14, 2011.

The story, according to The Hollywood Reporter, “follows a man who learns that his best friend’s wife is cheating and must then navigate treacherous waters to decide what do with that knowledge.”
