Harvey show gets Trump workout

Steve Harvey

September 5, 2012 – (Above) The Spa at Trump’s membership director, Caroline Rawlings, leads television personality Steve Harvey in an exercise in which a tethered weight, or poi, is swung. Harvey, an actor, comedian, and best-selling author, has been taping shows at NBC Tower that premiered on Tuesday. The show taped a segment at Trump on July 31. Taped on August 31, this segment with Rawlings will air on Thursday’s show, which starts at 2 p.m.

Harvey, who started his career at WGCI radio in Chicago, will continue to host the television game show Family Feud and host a syndicated morning radio show. He will commute to his home in Atlanta.

Broadcasting & Cable described Harvey’s ratings on Tuesday as “arguably strong,” performing especially well with women aged 18-34. The Chicago television studio used by the Harvey show was once home to shows by Jerry Springer and Jenny Jones.
