23-Feb-16 – Forbes Travel Guide has handed out its star ratings for the year and all four five-star hotels and all three four-star hotels in Chicago are north of the Loop.

Three of the city’s four top hotels are in River North. Trump International Hotel & Tower won five-star ratings for its hotel and restaurant, and a four-star rating for its spa. Across Wabash Avenue, The Langham won its first five-star ratings, one for the hotel and one for its spa. A half-mile north, The Peninsula won a five-star rating for its hotel, a four-star rating for its restaurant, and a four-star rating for its spa.
