March 26, 2012 – Fog, wrote Carl Sandberg in 1916, “sits looking over harbor and city on silent haunches and then moves on.”

Over the weekend, it got a good, long look of River North. Marina City resident Anita Lambert captured this foggy view looking north from the west tower late Friday afternoon.

It was still foggy on Sunday afternoon. Seen here from the riverwalk near State Street, a Shoreline Water Taxi reaches Wabash Avenue near Trump International Hotel & Tower, Wrigley Building, and Tribune Tower. Photo by Steven Dahlman.
