Filming near river for Chicago Fire, Mind Games

October 12, 2013 – Film crews working on two network television shows will return to the area just north of the Chicago River this week.

Chicago Fire will film near State and Kinzie Streets on Tuesday and Wednesday. Parking will not be allowed from early Tuesday to late Wednesday on both sides of State Street from Wacker Drive north to Hubbard Street, and both sides of Kinzie Street from Wabash Avenue east to Dearborn Street.

On Tuesday, 20th Century Fox Television will film several scenes in the Loop for a new series on ABC, according to the Chicago Film Office. Mind Games is a crime drama that has been filming in Chicago recently and will debut next year. It stars Christian Slater and Steve Zahn as two brothers who solve their clients’ problems by using psychological manipulation.

The shoot will close the Dearborn Street Bridge all day on Tuesday as well as Wacker Drive from Dearborn west to Clark Street.
