November 19, 2018 A community of business-owning families organized by Loyola University Chicagos Quinlan School of Business has named a River North company its Family Business of the Year.
Cushing, a commercial printing company located near Chicago Avenue & Franklin Street, was selected from four finalists in the small business category.
The award, presented on November 15 at Four Seasons Chicago, recognizes companies with a strong commitment to both business and family, according to Loyolas website.

This years finalists included Daprato Rigali Studios of Chicago, A. Perry Homes of Wilmette, and Batavia Enterprises of Batavia, Illinois, about 40 miles west of Chicago.
Cushing started as a blueprinting company one month before the stock market crash of 1929. The company produces printing and display graphics for businesses.
