Falk ‘Life In Color’ film to premier in San Francisco

November 30, 2010 – San Francisco will be treated next month to the documentary about Marina City resident Vincent Falk.

Vincent: A Life In Color will be shown twice on December 16 at Red Vic Movie House on San Francisco’s famous Haight Street. It will be the first theatrical screening of the film outside of Illinois, according to the film’s director, Jennifer Burns. Burns and Falk will travel to San Francisco and answer audience questions after each showing.

Meanwhile, a cornea transplant operation on October 26 at UIC Medical Center in Chicago left Falk with only modest improvement to his eyesight. Said Falk the next day, “It’s still dark and there’s a little bit of fogginess.”

Doctors are now hopeful Falk’s retina will continue to heal. An Optical Coherence Tomography scan, allowing a retina specialist to examine with a resolution of less than one-millionth of a meter, has been scheduled for December 23.
