Busy weekend for Mag Mile Divvy station

April 15, 2014 – Saturday’s warm weather inspired bicycle rides for many Chicagoans. The city set a new single-day record for most rentals of Divvy bikes. 10,866 rides were taken on the shared bikes, beating the old record from last September.

Photo by Steven Dahlman Of the 300 Divvy stations in the city, Magnificent Mile had the fourth busiest on Saturday. 253 trips started at the station at Michigan Avenue & Oak Street and 276 trips ended there.
