Adobe Stock Hoping to end year early, River North restaurant will celebrate Christmas in October

September 20, 2020 – A River North restaurant will celebrate the holidays a little early this year with an event that reflects what we are all thinking.

“Put Up the Christmas Tree and Call It A Year” will transform Mercadito at 108 West Kinzie Street into a “holiday-inspired wonderland” from October 3 to October 11.

The Mexican restaurant promises “over-the-top holiday decor, including Christmas trees, Christmas lights, stockings, and more,” along with special menu items and cocktails. Guests wearing an ugly sweater will receive a 15 percent discount.
