March 30, 2009 – (Above) The first Chicago Water Taxi of the season arrives in the North Loop at about 6:40 on Monday morning. Captain Doug Chyna says it takes about ten minutes to go from Madison Street in the West Loop to Michigan Avenue in the North Loop, with a stop in-between at LaSalle & Clark.

The dock nearest Marina City is at the base of the Wrigley Building, on the north bank of the river, west of Michigan Avenue, accessible by foot from Kinzie Street. From Michigan Avenue, a Chicago Water Taxi can be taken to Chinatown south of the Loop.
