July 31, 2012 – (Above) Film, television, and radio star Charlie McCarthy on display at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in River North, along with show-biz legends Mortimer Snerd and Effie Klinker. There are three versions of Charlie McCarthy – one is on display at the Smithsonian Institution and magician David Copperfield, according to the Internet Movie Database, owns the other.
