25-Jan-18 – A 19-year-old street musician added felony robbery to his repertoire over the weekend.

Taisean Harris, a bucket boy who performs with drumsticks and five-gallon buckets, was arrested on Saturday afternoon. Police say at around 3:15 he pushed a man near the corner of State & Adams Streets in the Loop and took his mobile phone.

Officers who witnessed the robbery took Harris into custody minutes later at the Jackson CTA Station near State Street & Jackson Boulevard. They recovered the phone and returned it to the victim.

Chicago Police Department Harris (left) was charged with felony robbery and felony theft. He was ordered held without bail for violating terms of probation for a 2016 robbery. His bail for the new robbery was set at $15,000.

In August 2016, Harris pleaded guilty to robbing a woman of her phone on a CTA bus two months earlier.
