Several other familiar edifices – including the Chicago Theatre, the Daley Center, the Old Post Office, the Berghoff restaurant, McCormick Place and Navy Pier – served similar functions, as did Lower Wacker Drive, the La Salle Street financial district (with the Board of Trade often taking center stage), the Chicago River (with Marina City seen from several perspectives), the railyard at 1500 S. Lumber and other locations.
