Bank card grabbed, suspect not nabbed

March 23, 2011 – A 22-year-old man from Winnetka reported his bank debit card stolen at Marina City in February.

The man told police that on February 24 at approximately 9:15 p.m., while he was on State Street near Marina City, a woman took his Harris Bank debit card from his hand and fled in an unknown direction. He described the woman as African-American, about 30 years old, five-feet-ten-inches tall, 160 pounds, with a medium complexion.

According to the victim, the woman was wearing a black and red Prada “skull cap.” The theft was valued at less than $500.
