May 30, 2013 – A Chicago tour boat company has been recognized by the travel website TripAdvisor for being in the top ten percent of businesses with “consistently positive traveler reviews” on the site, according to a recent news release.

TripAdvisor awarded a “certificate of excellence” to Shoreline Sightseeing, which offers tours and water taxi service from docks near Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier. Shoreline won the same award last year, too.

Chip Collopy, president of Shoreline, says his company is “proud to be part of the tourism fabric of Chicago.”

Also receiving a certificate of excellence, its first from TripAdvisor, was Hotel Sax, announcing it on their Facebook page on Sunday.
