August 13, 2010 – (Above) Seen from the east tower of Marina City, a member of the U.S. Navy Blue Angles team flies past John Hancock Center on Thursday afternoon, practicing for the 52nd annual Chicago Air and Water Show this weekend. The event can be seen over the lakefront Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The U.S. Army’s Golden Knights parachute team will also headline the show, which is centered on North Avenue Beach. (Click on image to view larger version.)
