October 11, 2020 A 130-room hotel in River North remains among the worlds 50 best hotels, according to Condé Nast Traveler.
ACME Hotel Company on East Ohio Street ranked #36 in the travel magazines 33rd annual Readers Choice Awards, announced on October 6. It is the hotels fourth year on the list.

Condé Nast Traveler calls ACME a hipster hotel with a tech bent and mentions its free 100 MB bandwidth Wi-Fi, keyless room entry via an app, an Amazon Echo in every guest room, and ESP Guitar in every suite. |
Its not all gadgetry, though, says the magazine. Killer cocktails can be found in all three of the hotels bars: the scene-y Berkshire Room, the cozy Bodega Bar, and Bunny Slope, an après-ski themed lounge complete with a Jacuzzi.
Last October, readers of the magazine voted ACME Hotel Company, which is managed by Rebel Hospitality, the best hotel in Chicago.
More than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers voted in this years Readers Choice Awards. Also winning an award was Chicago, voted the best large city in the United States.
