January 13, 2017 – A 72-year-old man, in the back of an ambulance, being taken to a hospital following a traffic accident, has been charged with battery and criminal sexual abuse of a paramedic.

Roy Hall (left), according to Chicago Police Department, was being taken from the accident on Wednesday when he battered and sexually abused a Chicago Fire Department paramedic in the ambulance. The incident happened at about 9:20 p.m. on East Erie Street just west of Michigan Avenue.

Hall lives in the 7700 block of South Calumet Avenue, eight miles south of the Loop. He was in bond court on Thursday.

The woman sustained minor injuries and was treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
