Group of teens attacking women in Loop

27-Oct-16 – Chicago police are looking for a group of teenagers robbing women walking alone in the Loop. So far this month, there have been three incidents. The women were attacked by five to eight young blacks who took by force mobile phones and backpacks containing computer tablets.

One attacker strikes the victim in the head and the others, a mix of young men and women, hit and kick the victim.

CPD There were two robberies on October 16, one near Michigan Avenue & Washington Street at about 9:00 p.m. and the other 12 minutes later on Randolph Street near Aon Center. A third incident happened on October 19 at 10:28 p.m. in front of The Chicago Club at 81 East Van Buren Street.

On Wednesday, police released these images from surveillance video.

UPDATE: Three teen-age girls turned themselves in after photos of them were released to the public. According to Chicago Police Department, a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl each face three felony counts of robbery. Another 15-year-old girl was charged with one felony count of robbery. They were in Juvenile Court on October 28.
